Southeast Michigan Surgical Hospital

Southeast Michigan Surgical Hospital (SMSH) is conveniently located in Warren, Michigan just a short distance from I-75. Initially opened in 1972 as a specialty hospital, SMSH was acquired by National Surgical Hospitals in October, 2003. The hospital has a long history as home to the country’s foremost Podiatry training center.

While the hospital currently supports a vibrant Podiatry graduate medical education program and clinic, it has blossomed into a 20-bed specialty surgical hospital providing exceptional service in:
